These herbs will help you to hydrate your body
Do you also struggle with extra pounds after winter? The fat cells gained during Christmas simply will not budge? Fat may not be the only culprit. Retained water can also be at play.
You can get several products from the pharmacy to help with this problem (unfortunately, most of them are designed for women), but if you decide to go for an effective herbal treatment instead, we can help you. The heroes of today are: rosemary, basil and dill.
Why these herbs?
Laboratory test would reveal that these herbs contain substances that promote weight loss and maintain proper body hydration. And it doesn’t matter whether you use dill (Anethum graveolens), rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) or basil (Ocimum) – they all do basically the same.
A great tea improvement
If you are really serious about starting your body in the spring, you should bet on tea made from these herbs. Fresh are best of course, and one spoon is enough. Pour in 250 milliliters of boiling water and let it sit.

After 10-15 minutes, strain and drink. Enjoy this tea before meals for one to two months. It depends how long you want to undergo your detox or slimming programme.
What other herbs can help?
Basically all herbs that contain bitters, as these substances support digestion. For example, Artemisia vulgaris, Thymus vulgaris or Taraxacum officinale.
Nettles are also good as they strengthen, purify and regulate metabolism, including stinging nettle Urtica dioica and Urtica urens. Both will do your body good.
