Japanese beans adzuki taste great but they are also beneficial for your skin

Beans

Raw beans are toxic when consumed, but making a peeling mask out of beans is ok. Well, not all of them and the popular Japanese adzuki beans are not actually beans from a botanical point of view so, you do not need to worry. The Latin name is (Vigna angularis) and many people call it simply azuki or aduki.

They contain a whole range of nutrients when consumed but they also work great in cosmetics.. Use them on your skin twice a week and your skin will thank you.

How to prepare adzuki facial mask

A simple recipe. Let beans soak for at least an hour. When done, blend them with a little water and you are done. If you are making adzuki beans for lunch, for example, put one spoon aside for your mask recipe. One spoon is enough.

The texture must be solid enough so that the mask does not run out of your skin, but at the same time, you must be able to apply it well. If it is too thick, add a small spoon of water and check. You can always add more. Easier then adding more blended beans… This mask is suitable for all skin types.

How to use it correctly

Adzuki beans offer a nourishing effect and provide plenty of antioxidants and nutritional components. This therapy is among the most popular therapies among Japanese women. All you have to do is gently massage the paste into your skin and leave it on for 15 minutes.Wash it off with a gentle soap and apply a moisturizing lotion.

Tiny pieces of beans also create a mild exfoliating effect and if you do it twice a week, your skin condition will improve and it will look younger and more vital.
