Howe to make pumpkin seeds in your oven
You can buy crunchy pumpkin seeds sure, but why don’t you try drying seeds that home? You need to follow the correct procedure sure but we shall tell exactly what to do. It is not complicated.
First, you need to thoroughly clean seeds and remove all remaining pulp. The best way is to put them into a strainer under running water and wash them. You need to remove all pulp. If you do not, it will burn in later in the oven and you do not want that. Pay attention to the cleaning phaseand if you do, everything will be fine and you will not end up wasting seeds.
Thorough drying
Once the seeds are washed and cleaned, you need to dry them very well. Spread seeds on a coarse, absorbent paper towel. Place a second towel on top and dry well. If necessary, repeat several times until you are sure that all seeds are perfectly dry.

Proper seasoning
Place dry seeds in a bowl and add oil, salt or other spices that you like and mix well. Some of the store-bought seeds may be too mild for you so, make your own seasoning. There is no limit to your fantasy. Use what you like.
Roasting
Spread seasoned seeds on a baking tray lined with a baking paper and place in the oven. Bake for 25 – 30 minutes at 200°C and then dry them for another two hours at 90°C. Turn seeds during baking to make sure they cook evenly. Check regularly. You do not want to dry them too much or burn them! If you burn them you cannot consume them.
