Use vinegar to care for outdoor and indoor plants
Vinegar is mainly used in the kitchen but that is a shame. Yes, from time to time we use it for cleaning too, but there is another area where vinegar can help but many of us are unaware of it. So, what is it?
Well, vinegar can be used to take care of plants. Many of you are probably thinking but vinegar can be aggressive. Undiluted vinegar can burn your skin for several hours. So, how can it be used to take care of plants? If it burns our skin then it will burn plants as well. Right?
Vinegar to adjust soil pH
Vinegar is acidic and if you grow acid-loving plants then you need acidic soil, which is great for blueberries, rhododendrons, magnolias, begonias, azaleas, cranberries or heather. Many of us do not immediately realize that these types of plants need acidic soil such as peat for example.

However, you do not need to run to the store and buy peat. If you water your plants with vinegar water, you will be able to provide the right conditions. But what about the concentration? You need about three full tablespoons for two litres of water. Mix it well and water your plants.
Destroy all pests with vinegar
Another use outside of kitchen is a pest control. Take 300 ml of vinegar and 900 ml of water. Add one tablespoon of liquid soap, mix well and pour into a spray bottle. Treat affected plants and repeat twice a week until you get rid of all pests. This solution is also great against powdery mildew. Outdoor plants that you grow indoors over the winter are especially susceptible to powdery mildew.
