Baking soda as a general cleaning agent
Baking soda, as a universal cleaner, works well, especially if you want to have a chemical-free household. We shall show you where it works best. It also deodorizes and is friendly not only to the environment but also to your wallet.
Baking soda in kitchen
Baking soda is a good and easy to use degreaser. Here is how to use it. Pour a tablespoon of baking soda into a bowl of dishwashing liquid and wet the surface you want to clean. That includes other surface such as the stove as well as the inside of the oven.
If you want to clean burned spots or dried food spots, you can also use baking soda. A little hot water, baking soda and a detergent will do wonders. Soak everything, preferably overnight, and you will have much easier time to clean in the morning.

Tub and baking soda
A combination of a regular detergent and baking soda works best if you heat up the mixture a little bit. This liquid agent is great for bleaching and making your laundry “snow-white”. To finish this process you also need a laundry soap. You will use it at the end.
Combs and brushes or makeup brushes also need a little cleaning from time to time, especially to remove any bacteria. Soak them in water with baking soda for few hours and then clean them thoroughly. Another tip is to use baking soda on a lightly moisten sponge and clean your shower curtain with it. Baking soda will make your shower curtain look new again.
