Excellent aloe

When we say aloe, the majority of us picture the true aloe (Aloe vera), but its relatives also contain a large number of active substances. For example, if you have tree-like aloe growing on your windowsill (Aloe arborescens) you can use it too. Add 3-7 drops of aloe juice to a container with water where you have your cuttings. This simple trick will speed up the root development process and even prevent infection.

You can also try the “regular” from stores if you cannot find the real stuff… Mix one full teaspoon in a one litre of water and put the cuttings in the solution for 12 hours. Only submerge the stem a third of the way. When done move it to regular water and let the rooting process continue. Roots will develop much faster.
